three scenes and an epilogue (or how to find that light) (2024)

three scenes and an epilogue (or how to find that light) it’s a stage performance piece, result of the mix between flamenco, experimental electronic music and performance art. This project is also the outcome of the collaboration between A. Crespo Barba and multidisciplinary maker Tagore González (a.k.a bbb).

The following questions were at the heart of this piece’s creative process: is it possible to provide sonic creations with stage presence? can sound become somatic? can an untrained body in somatic practices carry meaning on stage? It is precisely there, in the search for ways to translate sound into physicality (not only through the body, but also through the tangible space in which sound is located) where this work is positioned.

This project was part of LANZA, the residency programme carried out by Escuela TAI in Madrid.
